Kayla is a junior from San Diego, California, studying Computer Science and planning to pursue SML + creative writing minors. Before coming to Princeton, she danced traditional Chinese dance (plus some sporadic ballet and jazz) for four years, and she's super excited to explore new dance styles like contemporary and hip hop with the T8 family. On campus, she's also social chair for VTone, workshop chair for COS Council, and a member of the competitive badminton team. She's a chaotic combination of a walking karaoke machine, avid foodie (please send recs!), amateur baker, and a freelance short fiction/creative nonfiction writer. She's also always open to a friendly tennis or badminton match :)

Fun fact: I have a scar on my arm that marks my 16th birthday during quarantine, when I burned myself when taking my cake out of the oven
